Chris Brown Fires Back at Critic Who Called Him an 'Idiot' Over Bottle Case: 'Don't Be Next'

Chris Brown apparently saw the video, and he had a short answer for it. A social media creator who goes by @grizzyhendrixthegod went viral this week clowning the singer over the London nightclub case, calling him an "idiot" for still getting physical when he has the money to sit back and let security handle things, HotNewHipHop reports.

Breezy reportedly slid into the comments with three words: "Don't be next." A lot of people online are taking that as a threat tied to the bottle attack at the center of his UK case, though Chris didn't spell out what he meant.

The creator didn't fully back down. Per HNHH, he doubled down on the criticism while still giving Chris his flowers as an artist, telling him he's "still a legend" but needs to take it easy.

The timing is what has people talking. Chris pleaded guilty to affray earlier this month over the 2023 incident at a London club involving producer Abraham Diaw, and the more serious assault and grievous bodily harm counts were dropped. He reportedly walked away with a suspended sentence, meaning no jail time as long as he stays out of trouble, and footage of the attack circulated after the sentencing.
