Symba Says J. Cole 'F---ed Up' His Barbershop Argument by Backing Out of the Drake-Kendrick Beef

Symba is finally explaining why he swung on J. Cole. On a recent F4RUM interview, the Bay Area rapper said his problem was never Cole's talent, it was Cole pulling "7 Minute Drill" and stepping out of the Drake-Kendrick war, according to HotNewHipHop.

"You just f---ed up my barbershop argument," Symba said, explaining that he had been telling everybody Cole would handle both of them. When Cole apologized instead, Symba said he was hurt as a fan and made an "immature, impulsive" decision to record a diss.

He also offered an apology for how aggressive it got and called Cole "an amazing artist." Their back-and-forth reportedly ran from Symba's "Control" freestyle to Cole's response on Birthday Blizzard '26 and Symba's "Father Figure." Cole has not commented on the new remarks.
