Wiz Khalifa Reportedly Signs With 10K Projects
Wiz Khalifa is reportedly heading back to the Warner Music family.

Wiz Khalifa is reportedly heading back to the Warner Music family. According to Variety, the Pittsburgh rapper has signed with 10K Projects, reuniting with longtime collaborator Marsha St. Hubert, now the label's co-president. He has already dropped the new single "The Calm."
A new album is reportedly set for Nov. 13, made with hometown producers like E.Dan and Sledgren, the same Pittsburgh crew behind a lot of his classic era. That is the same date Offset is reportedly targeting for "GMFU," so mid-November could get crowded.

The move reportedly comes right after the RIAA handed Wiz 12 new certifications, with "Black and Yellow" and "Young, Wild and Free" said to have gone Diamond. Few rappers from his class are still collecting plaques like that.
10K Projects has reportedly built a reputation as one of the hottest labels in rap, and pairing it with a veteran who still sells out amphitheaters could be a smart fit for both sides.

Is this the start of a big Wiz run, or are the classics still his best work?
