Ye is not buying the idea that he was trolling his own fans. A clip from his first-ever show in Indonesia, Saturday at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, went viral after he reportedly stopped the crowd several times during the "Heartless" hook and had them start it over.
Some viewers online read it as ragebait. Ye answered on X, writing that the night "was a vibe," the crowd "was very loud" and "it's called rock and roll," according to Complex and the Jakarta Globe.

Crowd estimates vary by outlet, but reports put attendance at around 70,000 or more. The Jakarta Globe reports the promoter also apologized for sound problems in parts of the stadium, saying Ye's team handled the sound design.
The show was the only Southeast Asian stop on his current tour behind "Bully."
