Paris Jackson Reportedly Asks Court to Cut MJ Estate Executor's Pay, and the Estate Calls It Baseless

The fight over Michael Jackson's estate just went another round. Paris Jackson has reportedly asked a Los Angeles judge to shrink the pay of estate executor John Branca, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Per TMZ, the motion asks the court to cut Branca's share from 15% to 10% of the estate's gross entertainment income for 2023 and 2024, and to keep it there until a 2026 accounting is filed. Paris allegedly accuses him of "persistent incompetence" over late or incomplete financial statements, and she wants her legal fees covered as well.

The estate is not having it. A rep told TMZ the motion is "completely without merit," arguing the executors have never taken executor compensation at all and are instead paid a separate, court-ordered management fee for running the Jackson business. The rep added that the 2023 and 2024 accountings have already been filed, and the next ones are not due for months.

This is far from the first clash. People has reported on earlier filings in which Paris accused the executors of paying themselves far more than the beneficiaries received, claims the executors have pushed back on. The court has not ruled on the new motion.
