Sports: Jaylen Brown Says He Never Demanded a Trade From Boston, Calls Scalabrine's Story 'False Allegations'
The new Sixers star says he never handed the Celtics a list of ultimatums, and the Boston drama isn't going away with the two teams meeting Nov. 10.

The Jaylen Brown and Celtics breakup is still getting messier. After the Sixers' win Wednesday night, Brown flatly denied that he ever asked Boston for a trade or gave the team a list of demands, according to CBS Sports, citing the PhillyVoice.
The denial was aimed at former Celtic and current Celtics TV analyst Brian Scalabrine, who reportedly claimed on his radio show that Brown asked out and handed the team a list of conditions this summer. Brown's reps had already called that "10,000% a lie," per CBS Sports.
"I love Scal, but I guess he's doing what he has to do," Brown said. "I have no interest [in] letting any false allegations [follow] me to my next chapter here in Philadelphia. Never. I never demanded a trade. Never made a list of ultimatums." He added that he plans to save the bigger questions for another time and stay locked in on the season.
It's the latest chapter in a week of back-and-forth. Jayson Tatum insisted "this ain't f--kin Shaq and Kobe," while Brown fired back that it might not be beef, but "a little lamb chops and some gravy," as CBS Sports and Yahoo Sports reported. The Celtics visit Philadelphia on Nov. 10, so expect the questions to start right back up.
