Sports: Kawhi Leonard Reportedly Out at Least 3-4 Weeks With Knee Swelling, Longer Than Toronto First Said
The Raptors said one week. Chris Haynes is hearing closer to a month before they even decide what's next.

The Kawhi Leonard homecoming just hit a speed bump. The Raptors star is now expected to miss at least three to four weeks with swelling in his left knee, NBA insider Chris Haynes reported Thursday on NBA TV, per Yahoo Sports and ClutchPoints.
That's a lot longer than Toronto's original update. Earlier this week the team said imaging showed no acute injury and that Leonard would be reevaluated in one week. Haynes says the plan now is to wait for the inflammation to calm down, then figure out next steps at the end of that window.
"I think it's a little longer than what people were expecting or hoping," Haynes said, per ClutchPoints.
Leonard, 35, has only played two games since being traded back to Toronto this summer, averaging 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals. The good news for Raptors fans: the team is 3-1 anyway, including a 129-99 win over Orlando on Wednesday. Toronto heads out on a road trip that starts Sunday against the Lakers.
