Sports: Malik Beasley Agrees to Plead Guilty in Federal NBA Betting Case
The former Bucks guard is set to change his plea on Dec. 9 in Brooklyn, his lawyer says.

Malik Beasley is flipping his plea. The former NBA guard has agreed to plead guilty in the federal sports betting case against him, his attorney Steve Haney told ESPN, and he is scheduled to formally change his plea at a Dec. 9 hearing in Brooklyn.
Beasley, 29, pleaded not guilty in July to four counts, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bribery in sporting contests. Prosecutors allege he worked with bettors to manipulate his stats in at least four games during the 2023-24 season with the Bucks after racking up what the indictment calls "multimillion-dollar gambling losses."
The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of New York confirmed a deal was reached but did not share the terms, per ESPN. It is still unclear which counts he will plead to. Until he enters the plea in court, the charges remain allegations.
