The champs finally got a win, and now the drama is about the owner. On Wednesday's First Take, Stephen A. Smith said he has heard that Knicks owner James Dolan is upset with players who reportedly do not want to make the traditional White House visit, according to Yahoo Sports.

Smith was clear that he had not heard it from the players himself and did not know how true it was. He still called Dolan "a walking embodiment of petulance" and said he worries the owner could get complacent after the franchise's first title in 53 years, per ClutchPoints.

Dolan, who sat with President Trump at Game 3 of the Finals, said in June the team would accept an invite. Jalen Brunson and coach Mike Brown have since said no decision has been made as a group.

New York beat Detroit 111-97 on Tuesday to avoid an 0-4 start. The Knicks have not commented on Smith's claim.
