Rod Wave is building a roster that has nothing to do with music. The Florida rapper's Mainstay Sports Agency has signed Arkansas true freshman Abdou Toure, with the official announcement landing Wednesday, ESPN reported.
Rod Wave, whose real name is Rodarius Green, reportedly heard about Toure through his Mainstay team, pulled up his high school highlights and reached out right away. In a statement to ESPN, he called Toure "a superstar talent, and a superstar person," and said that on the court, "he's a highlight reel."

The guard-forward committed to John Calipari's Razorbacks in October 2025. Arkansas opens its season against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday.
