Keffe D Reportedly Moved to Maximum-Security Prison Weeks After Tupac Murder Sentence
The only man ever charged in Pac's killing is now reportedly at High Desert State Prison.

Duane "Keffe D" Davis has reportedly been moved out of a Las Vegas jail and into a maximum-security state prison, TMZ reports, citing Las Vegas outlet 8 News Now.
The 63-year-old is now said to be at High Desert State Prison, a high-security facility outside Las Vegas. The transfer reportedly comes just weeks after he was sentenced to 40 years to life on Oct. 13, following a jury's first-degree murder verdict in August.

Prosecutors argued Davis helped orchestrate the 1996 drive-by that killed Tupac Shakur, as payback after Pac and his entourage jumped Davis' nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, at the MGM Grand hours earlier. Pac was shot while riding with Suge Knight on Sept. 7, 1996, and died six days later at 25.
Davis is the only person ever charged in the case, which went unsolved for nearly three decades. His legal team maintains he is innocent and has said it plans to appeal.
