Ice Spice Goes Full Patrick Star for Halloween, and the Internet Can't Look Away

Ice Spice didn't need to think too hard about her Halloween costume this year. She went straight to Bikini Bottom.

The Bronx rapper dressed up as Patrick Star, SpongeBob's famously clueless best friend, for a night out on Halloween. Photos shared by Hip Hop All Day show her in a glossy pink bodysuit with a cut-down version of Patrick's signature green shorts, covered in his purple flower print.

According to CelebMafia, the look came together at the Unruly Halloween Party at Gravitas in Beverly Hills on Oct. 31. She finished it off with black fishnets, chunky buckled boots, a small lilac bag and long pink hair to keep the whole thing on theme.

The bigger surprise for a lot of fans was who she was next to. HotNewHipHop reports that Ice Spice and Young Thug reportedly threw the party together, and the two posed for photos side by side. Thug kept it simple in a white graphic top, dark pants, chains and tinted shades. Neither artist has said anything about working together, so any collab talk is just fan speculation for now.

The costume choice tracks. Ice Spice has leaned into her SpongeBob love before, including her link-up with the franchise, so Patrick was a natural pick. Some fans online had jokes about how short the shorts were, but that is pretty much the point of a Halloween fit.

Either way, she gave the timeline exactly what it wanted on the biggest costume night of the year.
