Kodak Black Appears to Collapse on Stage in Tampa, Set Reportedly Ends After Five Songs

Kodak Black has fans worried after video from his Halloween weekend show in Tampa appeared to show him collapsing on stage.

The Florida rapper was performing at Nightmare on Channelside at Benchmark International Arena, a bill that also advertised Meek Mill and DaBaby. In a clip shared by DailyLoud, Kodak appears to drop to the stage, and people around him rush over as the music keeps going. AllHipHop reports that he made several sudden movements after the fall, and some viewers described them as seizure-like. That description comes from people watching the footage, not from a doctor or anyone in his camp.

Five songs and done

According to setlist information cited by AllHipHop and HypeFresh, Kodak was on stage from roughly 12:20 a.m. to 12:35 a.m. and got through five songs: "Versatile," "Skrilla," "ZEZE," "Roll in Peace" and "Skrt." The set reportedly ended there.

HotNewHipHop reports that the people closest to him rushed to help, and that he was eventually able to get up and walk away.

Other clips raise questions

Not everyone is reading the moment the same way. VICE points to a separate, longer clip that purports to show the show was already being shut down, with Kodak walking off, coming back and his mic and music apparently cut before the fall. That account has not been confirmed. VICE also noted there is no indication that medical help was needed.

No word from his team

As of Monday afternoon, neither Kodak's representatives nor the venue have publicly explained what happened, and there is no official update on his condition. Until someone authorized to speak for him says something, the video is the only public record, and it does not show what led up to the fall.

Fans have flooded social media with prayers and concern. We will update this story if Kodak or his team shares more.
